On September 29, 2026, in Chisinau, a meeting was held between Farukh Homiddin Sharifzoda, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Diana Salcutan, State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova.
The meeting focused on the stay and protection of the rights and interests of Tajik citizens in Moldova, the provision of consular assistance, and strengthening coordination between the relevant authorities of the two countries.
The sides expressed their readiness to continue constructive dialogue, strengthen direct interagency contacts, and further develop cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
