On January 16, 2024 a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin and the Vice-President of the European Commission Margaritis Schinas took place in Dushanbe.

 

 

 

 

During the meeting the parties discussed the current agenda of bilateral relations and exchanged views on ways to develop and expand cooperation between Tajikistan and the European Union in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres.

 

 

 

The parties also discussed issues of regional security, the situation in Afghanistan, the threat of terrorism and extremism and other important issues.
