On November 11, 2023, in Paris, within the framework of participation in the 42nd session of the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the National Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan for UNESCO Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Director-General of UNESCO Ms. Audrey Azoulay.

 

 

 

 

During the conversation, the content and level of multifaceted relations of Tajikistan with UNESCO were discussed. The parties mentioned the 30th anniversary of the membership of the Republic of Tajikistan to UNESCO and the establishment of the National Commission for UNESCO. They also expressed hope in achieving new heights of cooperation with Tajikistan in all areas of the Organization’s activities.
